Could you please let your friends know about our upcoming 360ᵒ Jazz Initiative Composer Competition Winner's Concert that will be held Thursday, March 30 at 7:30pm in the recently renovated Moeser Auditorium at UNC in Hill Hall? The concert is free. Six composer's compositions were selected to be performed, including new works by:

Saturday, March 18th: The Doug Largent Trio
Featuring Doug Largent on organ, and a revolving cast of excellent guitarists, saxophonists, vocalists, and drummers. They specialize in the music that provided the soundtrack for parties and nightclubs in the 1950′s and 60′s – Hammond organ with guitar and drums playing classic standards, Latin rhythms, blues, funk, swing and bebop.
Organist and Chapel Hill native Doug Largent graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill and then spent ten years in New York City playing at jazz clubs like The Blue Note, Cafe Carlyle, and Smalls. In 2010 Doug returned to North Carolina to form The Doug Largent Trio.
