AND A GOOD TIME WAS HAD BY ALL - TONIGHT THE MICHAEL JONES TRIO

Jam session at BEYU last night was very enjoyable.  Kobie Watkins,- drums, Russell Favret - guitar,  Aaron Gross - bass, serving up the usual great house band sound with Ernest Turner - piano, joining them on some tunes making it even better.   Lots of folks sitting in, some from before and some I heard for the first time.  All of them good -  Philip Nonis - bass, Cameron Cook - tenor sax,  Atticus Reynolds - drums,  Adam Maloney - bass,  John Palowitch - alto sax,  Felix Allen - drums,  Will Flowers - drums,  Curtis McPhatter - drums.  The audience was diggin' the groove.  Thanks folks.  Please keep the good vibes coming.

Tonight at BEYU the monthly first Thursday treat!  The Michael Jones Trio.  Michael Jones - piano/keyboards,  Ellis Merlin - bass,  Bill Hayes - drums.  An energetic evening of great music.  I look forward to seeing some of my fellow jazz lovers at this "Good Time".  7 - 9pm.

Reminder, EF2 Party, 1-5pm, Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015, BEYU Caffe.   Ed Furtick
