THE DJR RX

Last night the Durham Jazz Reservoir RX worked like a charm.  The venue was perfect.  The audience was beautiful.  If I had found it necessary to struggle with getting there thru a lot of unexpected snow, I would in fact been feeling like I was back in NYC listening to the Modern Jazz Quartet live  -  JUST LIKE THE MUSICIANS PROMISED ME THEY WOULD MAKE ME FEEL!!!    It was so nice, I think we need to think about a repeat, or a couple of repeats, or a few more repeats, or....   Many thanks to all involved in helping to make music do what it does so well  -- GET US WELL!!!

More of the Durham Jazz Reservoir RX is  on schedule at Sharp Nine starting tonight Saturday, November 17, 2018,  http://www.durhamjazzworkshop.org/up-coming-concerts.html.

A TRIBUTE TO THE MODERN JAZZ QUARTET TONIGHT
