Onda’s April 2016 News
Hi Ed,
We hope that you had a lovely March. Onda continues to be on hiatus, but each of the band members is performing around town. A full list of Stephen Coffman’s shows are available on his web site www.stephencoffman.com.
Not to be missed: Nelson Johns presents a lecture and recital for his master's thesis on April 27th at 7:00 pm in BN Duke auditorium on the NCCU campus. This is the culmination of his work over the past two years, and we’re all very excited for him.
Also of note, guitarist Tru Born (Anthony Michael Peterson) and Eric are in residency this month on Saturday nights at West End Wine Bar. We will play an eclectic mix of jazz, r&b, singer songwriter, and folk music.
Saxophonist and vocalist Stephen Daniels and Eric Meyer will entertain you with swinging jazz standards and soulful ballads while you enjoy dinner or cocktails at Irregardless on Saturday, April 23, 6pm-8:30pm.
Our other collaborations. The members of Onda play in other jazz groups that we think you will enjoy.
