If you were at the Brother Yusuf Sextets shows on August 27 you'll remember Freeman was the bassist who played the second half of the show. There is no one else in the area more familiar with the music of Brother Yusuf than Freeman. This week he brings a jazz trio and his daughter, vocalist Adia Ledbetter.
