Weekly live jazz concert series at The Station: 201 E Main St Carrboro
This week's musicians: ATTICUS REYNOLDS TRIO Atticus Reynolds is a drummer/composer from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. In 2013, Atticus was honored to be chosen as the first jazz musician to be given a full-ride Kenan Music Scholarship at UNC-Chapel Hill. Atticus has performed with Latin-Grammy Award winning Hip-Hop group Chocquibtown, been featured on PBS’ Beat Making Lab, and is an active local musician in Jazz and many other genres. He has a forthcoming recording project in the works; a suite of original music inspired by folkloric Latin rhythms that was recorded in Puerto Rico (Ventana). He has also an album of original Jazz music (EMIT EP) available on Soundcloud and Bandcamp.
