with guest artist Bobby Broom, guitar
Born in Harlem and raised on the Upper West Side of NYC, Bobby Broom was seventeen when he made his first appearance with Sonny Rollins in Carnegie Hall. He toured and recorded with Rollins during his early years, also performing with trumpeters Tome Browne and Hugh Masekela, pianists Weldon Irvine, Dave Grusin and Charlie Parker, and pianists Al Haig and Walter Bishop, Jr. He has also worked with Kenny Burrell, Stanley Turrentine, Charles Earland, Miles Davis, Kenny Garrett and Dr. John, among others. 
Heralded as "one of the most musical guitarists of our times," by critic Ted Gioia, Broom has spent the new millennium focusing on his musical output as a leader, recording with the Bobby Broom Trio, the Deep Blue Organ Trio, and the Bobby Broom Organi-Sation.
