UP ON THE ROOF - DURHAM HOTEL

Good show last night.  Thank you Donovan, Andrew, and Autumn for an enjoyable evening of jazz .  Of course you know I anticipated nothing but the best from y'all and you delivered,  Thanks to Al Strong for making this and more good jazz things happen in this Durham and Environs Jazz Reservoir.  Also thanks to the folks at The Durham Hotel for providing this venue.  For those of you music lovers out there who have not yet discovered  it - The Durham Hotel & Al Strong host a JAZZ JAM SESSION every Thursday night.  To state it elegantly,  "The joint is jumpin'!"  It's on tomorrow night - Thursday 7-10. I've been fortunate enough to be at the Jazz Jam Session on several nights and it just keeps getting better and better, and.......  Word has it that Mr. Thompson, (Zoocru and WNCU host)  will be moving things along with his special brand of excitement.  As I've said previously, this Thursday Jazz Jam session should be on the schedule of every music lover each week!  You'll find a bunch of folks you've heard and enjoyed and a bunch of folks who will be brand spankin' new to you. The whole place has been smokin' each time I've been there - musicians, audience, casual stop and see folks, staff, etc.  The Durham Jazz Reservoir delivers!!!  You might want to stop in.
